Save the date: Goldyn’s DIA DE LOS MUERTOS charity fundraiser event is coming up, benefiting the art education programs that non-profit One of Ninety-Nine provides to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver. One of Ninety-Nine is a sponsored project of Fracted Atlas, a 501(c)(3) non-profit art service organization. Think ballet lessons directly from the director of the Colorado Ballet, offered for.
“Day of the Dead” is a national Mexican holiday celebrating lives of the friends & family who have passed away. Traditions connected with the holiday include building private altars honoring the deceased using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed and visiting graves with these as gifts.
Seems an apropos celebration at Goldyn’s new storefront at the old Olinger mortuary complex, now revamped into the LoHi Marketplace at Olinger, might we add. Free drinks, food, giveaways, live auction, and more… a great time for a great cause. Don’t miss out!
